Thanks for visiting the hyde park site

We totally understand that attending a new church can be a big deal - where do I go, when should I get there, etc. want to make it easy for you to come to church.  We want you to be able to experience the great, uptempo music and encouraging messages. We want you to be ready to meet the friendly people and just experience the refreshing, enjoyable atmosphere. We realize that the first time that you attend not only our church, but any church, you may have some legitimate questions. Let us try to answer those questions plus share what others have said about us.

• what should I wear?  We don't want clothing to be a hindrance to your attending with us. Some people wear jeans, some people wear suits. It's totally up to you.

• "I've heard that Hyde Park is a pretty big church and that makes me nervous."  That is a very legitimate concern. The only answer I have is that 9 out of every 10 visitors that we survey comment that they've never been to a FRIENDLIER church. They often comment that they really felt welcome and at home. Come see for yourself
  
• "the message really applied to what I've been going through..."   You will enjoy a really practical message from the Bible that you can relate to as well as our contemporary music. We have an exciting live band that really "rocks" and we read utilize video or drama to bring the point home for you. Hyde Park goes to great lengths to show you how much God really loves you and to help you connect with the God of the universe, Jesus Christ. 

We want you to feel comfortable, at ease and welcome when you visit with us. Make sure you get here early enough to drop by THE ROC CAFE' for a doughnut or fresh baked cookie and a free cup of coffee.
